FOUNTAIN VALLEY, CA, May 15, 2008 – Eclipse means to be better than, to be greater in significance or to dominate. That was the goal when REM Performance set out to design the ultimate ATV motor-cross set-up. After much testing and receiving feedback from several pro racers, they feel like they have achieved their goal and are excited to announce the release of “The Eclipse”.

“The Eclipse” includes all the parts you need to upgrade your ATV from stock to the absolute motor-cross or race ready all-terrain vehicle. The package starts with REM’s high-quality nerf bars, built from 1 3/8” x .125 wall aluminum tubing and TIG welding. They incorporated a 7 degree sweep on the outside so you can get the leverage you need when making aggressive turns and added heavy-duty, 1 ½” nets to complete their highly durable set of nerf bars.

Next, they joined their nerf bars with their brand-new pro peg heel guards. These heel guards are perfect for the rider who doesn’t care for the all-aluminum heel guards that are available on the market now. First, REM created a frame from 1" x .125 wall aluminum tubing and TIG welding. Then they added solid, 1” nets to the aluminum frame to complete a lightweight and design-forward heel guard.

The last piece to “The Eclipse” is their newly-released pro foot pegs. They started with cold-rolled steel and fabricated an aggressive, shark-like teeth pattern designed for awesome grip. The foot pegs are wider than your stock foot pegs and include a boot-gripping criss-cross design down the middle. Drainage holes in the bottom allow all the mud, dirt and water to drain through the foot pegs. While replacement parts are available, these foot pegs are built from heavy-duty steel to withstand plenty of hard riding without wearing down like aluminum foot pegs do.

The best part of “The Eclipse” is the amount of options you have available when you place your order. The nerf bars and heel guards both come in either a brushed aluminum finish or a black powder coat finish. The foot pegs allow for the most versatility with black outer pegs and black inserts, blue outer pegs and blue inserts, blue outer pegs and black inserts or a black outer pegs and blue inserts all available now. Other foot peg colors will be arriving soon. Mix and match your parts for a completely custom look!
